Maximise your number of haircuts each day

If you're considering taking online bookings, then you'll want to minimise any down time between cuts, and maximise how many people sit in your chair each day.

Let's say that a haircut takes 35mins. If a client books in at 8am and another at 9am, this would leave you with 25mins dead time (between cut 1 finishing at 8.35am and cut 2 starting at 9am). Not ideal.

Had you taken that appointment over the phone, you'd offer your second client a time of 8.35am or, if they can't make that, 9.10am (which would allow you to fit another cut inbetween them).

Barber Shop Booking lets you mimic this real-life behaviour by allowing you to set the 'slot interval' that aligns best with your business.

In the above example, where your most popular service is a 35min haircut, you can set the interval of available appointments to 35min. This will help you maximise the bums in your chair. If someone wants to book in for a longer appointment, that's no issue either, Barber Shop Booking handles it all.

The 'slot interval' setting is accessed by going to Shops (in the left hand menu) > Manage > 'Space slots out by'.
